Took NCLEX this afternoon

Published

I took the NCLEX today at 3:00p. Finished at 4:20 whe the computer shut off at 85 questions. I took my time, and had 23 SATA. I tried PVT at least 6 times since I left testing center and keep getting the "good pop up". Is it possible that it may change and I did it too soon? I will be paying for quick results in 48 hrs.

I think you will be fine then just do practice questions over & over what where you scoring with ATI? Level 1,2,3 ? Or grade wise? Did you do predictor test through ATI?

OP: If you're still getting the "good popup" now, about 24 hours after your exam, you stand a very good chance that your results (and therefore your PVT) won't flip to the other status. In order to be 100% certain that your 48 hour "Quick Results" are ready, they must score your exam that 2nd time well before that. In my case (and a couple of classmates's case too) I had my license posted 35 hours after I exited the exam. That means within 24 hours my exam had been scored twice (per their own protocols) and the final results transmitted to the BRN and put in the queue pretty darned quickly.

That's why I generally say that after 24 hours your PVT results tend to be very accurate. The first scoring isn't final, so don't put as much emphasis on the immediate results, though that's usually going to be correct.

Well I just reschedule my test I moved it take a few weeks to study I didn't feel ready. I failed a few months ago and now I was getting low scores on exam cram, saunders, hursts only in the 40% to 50% so I wasn't ready yet. Needed to think about a different way ...we had ati and I had a hard time at first with it. Now I get level 3 on all my test. I will be using it more this time around.

Definitely use ATI I was scoring level 3 & between 70-80% & my teacher said that is where you want to be for nclex ATI is scored different than a regular test if you are getting 40-50% on test then you are to low because that means you are only getting 40-50% of the questions right to pass the nclex you need to get 60% right if you can get your ATI scores to 70% or more that is what you need to pass nclex I felt like it helped me a lot to do them

I know right...the ATI live review said the same thing 60% to 75% to pass the nclex. I just fell out the ladder I haven't been using the ATI at all. My friend took her on Wednesday and was done in 1 hour with 85 questions and already a job lined up..she passed ..she thought it was easy just like ATI. I was using to many things to study for sure..I was getting a little confused myself thinking it was helping me out...But I never I wasn't really ready..I felt it..maybe soon after questions after questions.. using one thing to review...thanks

Hi there i used Ati in my school . Where do I register for Ati? I am second time taker I need to pass this time I have 2 kids so hard thanks

The ATI website is https://www.atitesting.com/Home.aspx. We used ATI throughout the whole program. We had a "final" ATI at the end of every course, as well as a Comprehensive ATI predictor right before we graduated. It told us what % was likely that we would pass NCLEX on 1st attempt, and what our weak areas were so we could focus on those. As much as I complained about the ATI tests through the past year, I'm now convinced they were a great tool to help us prepare.

Do u know if sunders 4 th edition is almost the same as 5 th edition because all of my friends pass with sunders 4 th edition on 2012 . Thanks
