I just took the exam on July 9th (passed BTW ) and another classmate took it the next day (passed too). We noticed along with many posters who've taken the exam recently are also getting a lot of infection control/precautions and which illness/disease required which precaution

I'd suggest brushing up on that.

Also prioritization was another biggie on my test and my friends test..as well as lots of posters here.

Brush up on culture and sensitivity. Again, both my classmate and I got quite a few about different cultures and religions.

It could very well be that the culture/sensitivity questions are part of the 25 questions that are "test" questions and don't count toward your score, but I'd brush up on those too.

Dear LJascoe,
I found that Moseby's LVN/LPN study guide helped. I passed my boards on the first try. Check it out. It's very informative and comes with a practice test CD. The book is sold at places like Borders and Barnes and Noble.
Good luck!!!!!

I liked Mosby's Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-PN as well as Exam Cram-PN...I passed June 28 (wahoo). I went on the Pearson-Vue site and paid for early results (took on Saturday and knew I passed Monday morning) but it showed up on the state site within five days. Sounds like it's different from state to state...best of luck!!
