RN License # on DORA, nothing from Pearson Vue

Hi there!

Sorry if there is a post about this already. I took the NCLEX on Weds June 25th and on a whim checked DORA's website to see if a license # was posted yet. To my huge surprise I had a license #. When I logged in to Pearson Vue there was still no option to do "Quick Results" because it obviously hasn't been 48 hours. Has anyone else had DORA post before Pearson Vue? DORA is official correct? Thanks!

Yeah same here. I'm guessing that Pearson waits 48 hours regardless of how quick the BON is.

Yep, if you have a license number then you are a nurse! I wouldn't pay for the quick results.

If you have a license number, by definition then, you have passed. Don't bother with paying for the quick results... you already know!

So you think my number would be posted if I passed. I keep getting the "results on hold" message because my palm scan wasn't working. I also took mine on Wednesday.

In your instance, I would expect that they won't release the results until they can resolve the reason for the hold. They must know that it's you and nobody else. You might have passed, or not... but until they verify it's you, you're in limbo, figuratively speaking.

So I won't get the "good" pop up until my test is no longer on hold??

Im going nuts sitting here and waiting. I had 120 questions and I don't feel good about it. I just want to know already...

The Florida board posted my license number before as well!!

Correct. You won't get any results either way until the hold is released. I hope for your sake that they release the hold soon!

Like other's said, if you have a license on DORA, you saved $8. Don't bother with the quick results. Pearson Vue administers the test, then they send the results to the BON who issues the license. If you did not pass, there would be no mention of your name on the BON. You passed!! Congrats!!

Do you just log into DORA and go to the Verify a license? And type in your name?

I am just not sure, I took my test today and am iffy about it but have the "good pop up" after checking it 5 hours later and it's still good 6 hours after that....feeling less anxious... If you could please share how you looked it up please! I have a CNA license so I'm wondering if two will show up for me or however that works
