Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

I took my NCLEX yesterday. I must admit it was my second try. Failed the first with the CC page. This time, after intense studying and an expensive Kaplan course, I took it with 75 Q. I got the "positive" pop up. Nonetheless, I am still skeptical about the "trick". Nightangel2009, hang tight. It is a tough exam.

I went to the Buszta NCLEX Review courses and felt really great and I studied my ass off for this test but everyone else in my class got their results the very next day and I'm the only person out of a lot of people that I've talked to that got that message. Today is my birthday and I had planned to take my test yesterday so that I could pass it and then have my license activated on my bday but that didn't happen. I just don't know if I passed or failed. I had a lot of meds and I felt like I didn't know any of them. :/

The meds are hard on everyone... I have a feeling that maybe the results are on hold because some information is missing? I hope that it is something trivial like that... Happy belated birthday to you, btw! :)

I took Kaplan and studied like a fool for 5 weeks straight. Practice test after practice test.... I found out an hour ago I passed... It is over! I hope it will be over for you as well in a very positive way! Keep us informed...:)

great news!! the trick works :) i took the nclex-rn on tuesday, and i checked for the pop-up immediately after i got home. at first i was a little paranoid because i got this pop-up, "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." i tried again a few hours later, and i got the "good" pop-up, "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." my test seemed really tough, and i got about 20 select all that apply questions. i it cut off at 75 questions. yesterday morning i checked the texas board of nursing website, and my registered nurse license was posted at around 8:30am!! it posted before i would have had to pay for the quick results, so that was an exciting moment! good luck to all who plan to take the nclex, you can do it! :)

Worked for me too ... took the NCLEX-RN yesterday, got the good pop up yesterday afternoon and have a license number posted today! :)

I took the NCLEX and I'm still convinced I did absolutely horrible. I felt like throwing up after I left...

Been freaking out all day until I heard about this trick. I got the "good" pop-up!

It seems fairly reliable... I hope it holds true. Wish me luck!

Let's have faith both in God and ourselves. Godbless to all of us waiting for the results.

Oh btw guys before posting please indicate the state where you took your NCLEX exams. Thank you.

i just want to share my experienced, i took my NCLEX-PN on 9/7/10 at westlake village CA, it stopped at 85 questions, i had a lot of SATA maybe 10-15 of them, lots of prioritizing, lots of infection control, 2 meds, 2 calculation. it took me about 1 1/2 hour. leaving the testing site feeling i totally failed the exam. i got home feeling sick to my stomach, googling in the internet and came across about this PVT trick here in this forum, i am so scared if i want to try the trick or not, but i did it! i got the good pop... i was doing it everyday..lol..

Today 9/24/10, i received a letter that i PASSED!!!

i believed that PVT works!!!

thank you everyone and thank you PVT!

Mabuhay ka!!! Congrats sayo!! :D

Why did you do it every day? It doesn't change.

The poll should have two additional questions:

1) Amount of people who got the good popup but then got a letter that they had failed (ZERO),

2) Amount of people who got the bad popup but then got a letter that they had passed (also ZERO).

If they added these to the poll maybe people would then actually accept that it works and chill out while waiting for the official results.
