Passing the Nclex with only 75 question

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my Nclex 44 hours ago no quick results available. My computer stop at 75. I did not get math questions, EKG, drag and drop, hotspot, or audio questions. I had 10 select all apply, priority, delegation, infection control and psychosocial type questions. I am loosing it. This is my 3rd time taking this test. This is the longest 48 hours of my life.😳😞. Anyone ever gotten there results before 48 hours? Please me calm down..help!!!

You cannot get quick results in less than 48hrs. But some BoN post licenses online 24hrs post NCLEX.

I'm 24 hours out, mine stopped at 75q. I just got the good pop-up. Keeping fingers crossed for both of us. I got 2 ekg strip, fetal heart monitor strip, at least 20+ SATA, 1 drag n drop, 3 math calculations and lots of priorities (best, essential, pritority) questions.

I took my exam 48 hours ago no results in from quick results.. Is that a bad thing? BON pending..

Where do you look for good pop up?

Vicky, are you sure you are in a State that participates in Quick Results? If not, Pearson Vue's message will always read "Results Not Available". They mean QR not available.

If you ARE in a State that participates, it can take longer than 48 hours if there was a hold placed on your test initially. Holds can be placed for a number of reasons, the most common seem to be palm scans that took more than one swipe to work, and finishing exam faster than average. Neither means it will become an actual problem, BUT it can cause a delay in scoring. Holds take 24-72 hours to lift, usually.

So.....that's a possible reason for delay of results (if you can get QR at all).

I did not pass...😞 I am trying not to give up. The test was not hard. I took my time answering the questions. Cause it be that I spent alot of time on the questions..unbelievable. Now back to school...Nevada 3 times and back school. That's what NBON wanted because I been out of school for 8 years. I am sad..tears are rolling down my face. Good luck to the others lady who's waiting for her results. Thanks to all.

Sorry to hear that you didn't pass. When the computer shuts off at 75, you either did well or not so well and fairly definitively so. The test should be hard... in fact, it should be the most difficult exam you've taken to date (or nearly so) and you said the test was not hard. If the NCLEX seems easy, it's because it's asking you questions that are below passing standard. It wasn't likely because you took your time that you failed, you probably failed because you were answering "harder" questions incorrectly, so the computer kept dropping the difficulty level down.

While you do have to go back to school at this point, I suggest you also wait for the Candidate Performance Report and see what is listed there. That will give you a pretty good indication of what you need to work on.

Again, sorry to hear that you didn't pass.

^^ What he said!^^

Sorry for the set back, hopefully it's just a bump in the road.
