NCLEX-RN Made Incredibly Easy Study Guide

Nursing Students NCLEX

For those of you who have taken the NCLEX-RN Made Incredibly Easy, how does the test stack up to the NCLEX? Does anyone know the pros and cons of this study guide?

If you did use it, did you find it helpful?

Thanks!

I have this study guide and to be honest-it is almost too thorough. It is sort of hard because it goes over every subject then you can quiz yourself. BUT to study for the NCLEX by studying every topic is just so hard. I find it easier to just buy an NCLEX review book with the quizzes on all the topics. I take all of them and I think eventually you get the idea of the kind of questions you will see on the boards. One I have that I like is by Lippincott. Good luck to you!

Loved it :)

That was all I used to study for the NCLEX, and I also used it when I had tests in school to study the questions from.

I think its a wonderful book that is very well written and helps you to understand everything from med surg to OB.

I like the Nclex 3500 cd. I have used it for the pass two months and really like it. It gives you rationales, you can take a pretest and print out your progress. You can also select the topics you want to test for or study for. It shows you the right answer and why it is the correct answer. I purchased it on eBay for $8.50. It was worth it. My school used the same cd for test. Basically this summer, I am going to work on fundamentals and get ready for nursing school in september. I truly believe everyone who is thinking about going to nursing school and taking the nclex, should get that CD.

Thanks everyone for your replies and of course, I'd love to see what other's thought of this book.

Right now I'm a little early in the game. I bought it last summer to sort of prepare for nursing school (after I read about the NCLEX in here, I figured that it's never too soon to begin preparing for it! :). The book had the rationales I could use and I thought it'd be handy when it came to study by topic in school.

I was just wondering how it compared for NCLEX-RN preparation, and it sounds like it's really good as well.

When the time comes for me to take the NCLEX (a few years from now, hopefully not too long), I'm going to use the Saunder's preparation that Suzanne4 has. I'm going to use her plan as well, but it doesn't hurt to use different books. Unless one is notoriously bad at giving wrong answers/rationale.

Thank you all. You've been a great help and I appreciate more replies if anyone has any. :)
