Hello, I have some questions in regards to the nclex and hoping some of ya'll can she'd some light on it..
I graduated back in 2006, took the nclex twice, failed both times and decided well maybe it's not for me, and went into another field of work.
Now 8 yrs later, Im thinking we'll maybe it was for me I was just maybe bummed about the test, as well as I had felt upon graduating that my experience in clinicals wasn't as great, and hardly had a chance to do simulations at the labs which the school now offers/requires of every student.
So now that I'm thinking of taking the test, I called the boards in TN, which is where I live now (I graduated in FL), and the lady just told me that you only have within 3 yrs of graduating to do it, otherwise you have to go back to school. Is this correct?? I asked her, If I would have to do the program again?? To which she said about having to go back to the Dean for them to sign and see about what I'm lacking.
Is this true for all states?? I had read in a few blogs where people passed after a few yrs, and I guess I didn't think that there was a time limit.
I would greatly appreciate ya'lls feedback..
Thanks
