NCLEX-RN advice for 3rd time test-taker??

It's me again. .I took the NCLEX-RN for the fourth time this morning, I went inside the testing center with confidence. I told myself, this is the last time i will be here. I prayed and prayed, there are times that I feel like im getting weak but I tried everything to set aside whatever negative thoughts i have in mind. I said to myself "this is your day, dont be afraid coz God is with you".

I actually run out of time, I answered 182 questions..20 SATA, 4 calculations, 1 exhibit, 1 hotspot, and lots of prioritization, and lots of medications.

I just got home an hour and a half ago. I thought about PVT trick, just the thought of it is killing me. But at the same time, I was very anxious to know my result. And this is the moment i said and so i did it anyway.

"The candidate has previously passed this exam. A new appointment cannot be scheduled". A good pop up, now i cant wait to see the official result. i hope PVT trick really works.

All i can say is, dont give up and always talk to the man upstairs, tell him what you want. He will listened. .Thank you Lord! You are the Best!

Congrats!!!...I will be taking it for the 3rd time next month...lets just say i have no idea were to begin studying...if anyone has any ideas as to what was a great help to them please HELP

I used kaplan 2011 book, La charity (must read), saunders Q&A ed.4 (orange book), NCLEX 3500, random facts throwing (allnurses.com),

Stop studying the material that you already know, when preparing for the nclex-RN its not testing what you know, its testing how you prioritize. Instead focus on HOW to answer the question and WHICH answer is best. Do not use what happens in the real world use how it would occur in a perfect world. Good-luck.

For example it you had a patient who was not breathing and bleeding from a deep laceration in the abdomen and his toes were turning blue. What would you assess first? You would follow the ABC's, first airway, then breathing then circulation. It would not do any good to stop the bleeding first, because he's not breathing. check his airway get him breathing, then stop the bleeding. It's all about the process. Read the question very thoroughly there are key words that alert you to what you are being asked and how to answer.
