NCLEX Failed 5x times Clueless

I'm sorry to hear that. How are you with your content? Maybe that is your weakness? Your resources are great for practice questions. I used Hurst on my NCLEX and it really helped me how to answer questions from knowing your content.

You may want to consider a tutor to help you. I am a multiple test taker but I didn't give up because I want to be a Nurse and that is all the career I wanna do. I used to study 12-14 hours on my day offs and spent 5 hours after I get off from work..also I work 40 hours a week. I felt so burnt out and I was so ready to get over with the NCLEX. I was scoring 70-90% on qtrainers with Kaplan and I thought I was ready! So I took the NCLEX on November and I failed I was so depressed and I didn't know where to start again, I just want it to be over because I was so tired of studying with the same thing over and over again. So I took a month off and spent my holidays in Canada. When I get back from vacation, I made my own study guide. I started studying again but this time, I studied 2 hours after work and 5 hours on my day offs, I started working out in the gym and eat healthy. On Feb 9, I took my boards and I passed. í ½í¸Š So don't give up!

NCLEX is a computer adaptive test. When you answer a question correctly, the difficulty increases. When you answer a question wrong, the difficulty decreases. It looks for you to be in a narrow range above the pass line for a certain number of questions beyond 75 questions. You were either straddling the pass line or too inconsistent in answering questions correctly, it kept giving you questions until you reach 265.

No offence meant, but failing that many times may mean that there is something you are missing. The test is meant to ascertain minimum competency and safety for an entry level nurse. It is a fair test, no one is punishing you, but there is something that you need to learn or relearn in order to pass it. A tutor is always a good idea, but honestly before you spend more time and money on study prep and re-testing, I think you should do a remedial course. I know its time consuming and costly, but it will make you a better nurse in the long run.
