Input on Kaplan Scores & NCLEX PLZ!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi guys, my test is on Wednesday in NYC and I was wondering if anyone had similar scores and passed the 1st try? I'm feeling pretty crappy right now - just finished QT #7. One minute I feel ready, the next I feel awful! Agh! I feel like what I'm reviewing is helping me somewhat - but, still during the QT's there's a lot of stuff I don't recognize. :(

My ATI scores on the assessment's are usually from the mid-60's to upper 70's, just took the comprehensive and got an 80% and I'm going to take the ATI Predictor tomorrow.

It doesn't help that all of my friends have been getting like 30-40-50 SATA's and Ordering Procedure questions.

Diagnostic: 64

Readiness: 67 (In the Live Classroom course we took it 4 days after the Diagnostic).

QT 1: 56

QT 2: 65

QT 3: 51

QT 4: 62

QT 5: 64

QT 6: 68

QT 7: 65

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! Having a panic attack over here. :( x 100.

Thank you.

Thank you guys!!! You're really making me feel a lot better!!! I've been text bombing my class mates but it's nice to hear other people's experiences as well. Thank you and Congrats!!! :)

I had similar kaplan scores as well and i passed the nclex with 89Q 2 weeks ago :) I had really bad anxiety a week leading up to the exam and I felt that doing questions always eased it. The day before the exam i went to the gym and tried not to study anything, the day of i got there about an hour early and they sat me right away and i just took my time and i walked out of there knowing i passed because i knew i got the last q right :) btw nys bon posted my liscence # on the website 48hr after taking the exam, save your # onquick results. GOOD LUCK AND I HAVE SO MUCH FAITH IN YOU! :)

Honeydew,

My Kaplan scores were almost identical to yours and I passed! Your scores look great!

I got a ton of SATAs, but remember that is everyone's weakness and PV knows it, so don't let it freak you out too much.

Everyone is terrified, everyone has panic attacks, everyone leaves the testing center and the fact that the PVT is gone will make it more difficult while waiting for results, but I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that you are completely and totally normal.

Day before the test-do something relaxing, studying should be done!

Thank you for the positive vibes!!! I was seriously freaking out and to hear what you guys had to say was a huge relief. Seriously, the hardest part of the NCLEX was getting in the right mindset for the exam. I hope I passed!!! I shut off at 75 and I didn't know if I should be happy or not so I just had a mini freak out and raised my hand for the proctor to come over.

Tried the "New" Pearson Vue Trick and got the supposed "good pop-up", not believing anything until Friday though!!!

Oh I am sure you did great! You would know by the difficulty and nature of the questions you were getting whether or not you passed or failed if it shut off at 75 questions. I remember the questions getting harder and harder with many multiple answer questions when mine shut off at 75. Congratulation and good luck with your new career!!

Woohoo! Just did the rapid results, I passed!!!! Thanks for your input before guys!!!
