I'm so sorry, eosaeni. Do not give up!

Please list what you were using to study, and how many questions you answered, etc, so that other members who have passed it can help you out.

You can beat this!

i used the lippincotts study book and CD. I thought i was ready but now look what happened to me? My thots are scattered right now.

i used to take the test everyday for about 8weeks, 75?s each time. I dont think i can go thru this again

First of all, take some time to recoup your thoughts.

Second of all, think about what all you had to go through to get to this point. You have been through so much, you graduated, you know you have what it takes.

Suzanne4 has a NCLEX study plan that seems to have helped many people on here. If you would like, you can PM her with your e-mail address, and she will send it to you when she does her next mail-out. (No e-mail addresses are allowed to be posted on the open threads.)

Another question I have seen is:

Are you reviewing the rationales of the correct answers as well as the incorrect answers?

Whatever you do, do not give up. Give yourself a mental break, then get back to the grindstone.

Don't be too hard on yourself, you made it this far, and you can overcome this. :icon_hug:

hi,

I know exactly how you feel. I too, have failed the NCLEX-RN last July and it took me about 2 months to get over it and start anew. Suzanne have created a study guide for me that everyone who passed had utilize during their preparation for the exam. I am hoping that I too like them will pass the second time. I am now scheduled to retake it this month. I have been practicing the saunders CD, doing 100-200 questions a day ( although Suzanne said just 100 ?'s a day). After each exam, I review everything even the ones I got right. I started getting low grades (60-65) but now I must ay my grade has been improving ( 74-85 ). I am determined to slay this dreaded beast and I know I WILL! This will be my b-day and christmas present for myself. Get yourself some break and start again when you're ready. WE WERE BORN TO BE REGISTERED NURSES!

I am so sorry to hear that! don't give up.

Not at all, eosaeni, and you don't need to think that way either. :)

Cntw82BanRN and eosaeni, good luck to you both. Let us all know how things turn out.

thanks a lot fun2care. You are amazing:kiss

I'm sorry to hear that you failed. I know that it's an awful feeling, but as Fun2Care says, recoup and continue on. As she said, Suzanne4 has a plan for those taking the NCLEX. You can send her a PM and she'll give you instructions.

Please understand, that you are not the only one who has failed. I know that this may not help, but you are definitely not alone.

Hang in there and keep moving on!
