Nursing Students NCLEX
Published Jul 3, 2009
I'm studying to take the NCLEX on July 16th.
For those of you who have taken the NCLEX, how many math questions did you get? Cuz man...I'm so rusty.

No math on my test...and I was disappointed as drug calculations are a strong suit of mine.

Yikes!! Is math really considered a bad sign??? It felt like I got a bunch of math questions - all at similar level of difficulty it seemed. I just found out I passed.

I don't think they're a bad sign. I got a math question and passed at 75. Every test is different and no one can say that getting a math question, getting 75 q, getting a lot of sata, or getting 265 q is a good or bad sign.

Of course math is a bad sign. It requires no critical thinking, just plain memorization. Math is easy!

I passed with 75 questions and no math problems. I read on here that math problems are low level so if you stay up there you do not have to worry about it.
Math problems are easy questions designed to start pulling your grade back up into the passing percentile.
Nobody said that math means you will fail.
But if you agree that priority and delegation and good signs, then you must acknowledge that there are bad signs as well.

I've been focusing on priority and delegation..so if those are higher level questions, I guess I'll be fine.
Thanks eveyone for your input!

took the nclex today...75 questions and no math
I dont believe there are good or bad signs for the NCLEX. What I do believe is that you take it (with however many and/or kinds of questions you get) and then you find out some time after if you pass or fail. Plain and simple...
