How many of you have 75 questions passed or failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi, everyone, I am new here

Just took my RN exam yesterday, and... feel so bad. Cannot help it to think I failed it... :crying2: This is my second time to take it. The last time I took it was an year and half ago, I got more than 100 questions, and I failed.

This time, I really spent time preparing for the exam, since I have been out of nursing field for so many years, and it's much harder than I expected and the last time I took it. My brain was blank when I finished the exam. Couldn't remember what kind of questions I had, just memorized that I got a lot of prioritization questions, about 6 to 8. I even got one multiple choice question, when it appeared on my screen, I was so shocked and freaked out.

The computer shut down after I finished 75 questions. I almost cried it out at that time. Cuz I didn't think I do well for all those 75 questions. After I backed home, I kept thinking I failed... :crying2: although my friends kept telling me that having 75 questions is a good sign. I read some msgs posted online and found there are still a lot of people failed with 75 questions... sighs... Don't know what to do next...

People told me I can go onto CA BON's web site to check if my name is on their licensing database. I did go check it... but since I took it on Friday morning, and it's weekend now, I guess I have to wait couple days... sighs...

I passed with 75, and I too thought I had failed miserably. :)

When did you take the exam btw? How hard were those questions you had? My brain was totally blank when I got out of the pearson center... never had such a bad feeling before... that really scared me...

Passed w/ 75 questions.

Like the previous posters have said: 75 questions and shutoff mean either really good, or really bad. Let's hope you're with the statistical 'average' and passed !!!

In either case - Best of Luck as you start your nursing career !!!

I raced through my exam. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I got the last question wrong. I was sure I failed. I was miserable. I passed.

I'm sure you did too. Remember most people pass on the first try!

I am really afraid I would be that really bad one... sighs... Thank you for your blessing... :)

I really hope I passed, still keep waiting the result here... However, the longer I wait, the worse feeling I have... Really afraid that I would be the one who fail horribly with 75 questions... that's a shame...

Thank you for having confidence on me...

This site is really nice, so many people are so nice... I am glad I found this site.

Just check CA BON's web site, and... didn't find my name there... :crying2:

I wonder how long I should wait to check the result. It has been 4 days since I took my exam on 7th...

Mino, give it more time. I'm sure a lot of students just took the NCLEX recently since fall semesters just ended. Maybe that will cause the results to come later. I know it's hard.

I only got 75 questions and passed. I felt like I failed too and I was always an A student! When you're doing well the questions just get harder and harder and you end up with that feeling.

Thank you very much for your respone.

I had tried really hard to recall if those questions were getting harder and harder... I knew I answered some questions wrong in the middle, but I just could not remember what questions I had. Some of answers for those questions are so vague, and really made me feel bad.

Just put on dress, wanna go WINDOW shopping in the mall... if I keep staying at home waiting for the result, I will go crazy... sighs...

Thanks again. :)

passed with 75 questions just last month....good luck and try to stay positive...you'll realize after you get the good results that you put yourself through some undue stress...wishing you the best.

I PASSED

OH MY GOD

CANNOT BELIEVE...

Crying here... :crying2:
