Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi! First and foremost I don't know if this topic has been posted as I've tried searching for answers but they seem to be outdated and policies may have changed. Please bear with me if this post may be lengthy.

So I've checked the status of my applied for TX-BoN and below is the itemized results:

So I understand I am just waiting for the CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK RESULTS. I had sent my fingerprint cards and the fastpass form to Morphotrust on 08/01 and they received it on 08/04 so my questions are:

  • How long does it usually take to receive the ATT after you've mailed the fingerprint cards and fastpass form to Morphotrust? (Please note that I reside in California)
  • Does it take longer if your applying out of state? As stated I am residing in Ca. and applying for TX
  • If the results are itemized this way (above) does it mean your legible to sit for NCLEX-RN? (I haven't heard any feedback from the BoN. I am a foreign educated nurse from the Philippines)

I know I'm excited... *blush*but I wanna say THANK YOU in advance to those who will be helping. AN has been a really big help from the time I was looking into applying for NCLEX to another state because of the concurrency issues in CA. till now! :saint: I cannot believe I am one step away.

I think is 4 weeks

Mines was 5 days!!! it depends on the bon , however the normal is 4 to 6 weeks

Ahh, I'm hoping it's soon! I'm so anxious!!

I hope its soon for you too! I could not believe how quick mines was! I am going to be studying like mad now! Im going to get nscbn review for international nurses i think? I already got nclex pass course , am scoring between 60-80% :)

Just keep calling pearsonvue, ask them about a status update on your ATT. Sometimes they'll give it to you on the spot. Or if there is a hold up, call the board of nursing and ask them the status of the ATT.

I took me a week to get mine, where as my classmates got them within 10 minutes of paying the fees.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Did you check your spam/ junk email folder? Did you pay & register at Pearson Vue ( you would be surprised at the number of candidates sit around waiting for an ATT but never registered or paid the $200 NCLEX fee ). Did you register online at Pearson and is your email address correct?

I think the OP is waiting for his/her background results?

i was told when you register and pay pearson vue . Your name is sent to your BON whom state if your approved or not yet. I believe they are allowed up to 4 to 6 weeks, but it wont be that long I'm sure.

I think once your fingerprints and background is processed its going to be quick :)

Hi yes I had registered and paid with pearson view. Email address is also correct. No emails on the junk folder however. I check couple times a day since others have been getting them quite quickly... =) Thank you for your response.

Ahhh I'm hoping it won't be 4-6 weeks lol. I can't seem to focus on studying since I have no idea yet when I'll be taking the exam. Wow your done with the NCSBN nclex, that's good. I also registered for an NCLEX review course online that's why I'm anxious cause I'm only allowed 90 days access on the website. I am hoping I get my ATT before that? It has been a journey Suzy, thanks for all your help from the very beginning of my process. =)

Good luck to us! And finally, after about 5 months we are close to taking the NCLEX.. FENs seems to wait a bit longer :)
