I've taken NCLEX twice over the past 10 years. I took NCLEX-PN at the very end of 2005 and NCLEX-RN in 2010, and passed both on the first attempt after having answered the minimum amount of questions.

In my opinion, NCLEX is not that difficult. The passing standard is so low that a test taker only needs to correctly answer about 50 percent of the higher level questions in order to pass. Four out of every five candidates pass NCLEX on the first attempt.

Thanks so much! Everyone says that NCLEX is much easier than HESI, but I'm afraid I'll be that 1 out of 5 that thinks it's harder lol. You made me feel much better, thanks!

You will be fine, you got this girl!!! I made a 1089 on my exit HESI and everyone that I have talked to says that HESI is 10 times harder than NCLEX!! Now you still have to study as if your life depends on it but relax, you got this!!!!

Feb 8th got my OFFICIAL written offer from HR today. Super excited! Previously I had only gotten a verbal from HR and my written email from the boss.

Good luck y'all! Just finished too (961 on exit HESI but my parents were in town for pinning so I literally did NOT study, just sat through our HURST review..!). Still waiting for my ATT and our credentialing folks are out until Monday (not sure if they're open at the end of next week around New Years'..!) -- was really hoping to take it somewhere between Jan 10-20 but we shall see..!
