How did you study the first time?

I am sorry that you didn't pass. The good news is that you received 265 questions. That means that you were close to passing. No, you will not get the same exact questions. NCLEX has a vast database. You will, however, get a report showing your strengths and weaknesses. Brush up on the weak areas before you test again. Good luck!

Sobless, don't focus on what study program brand you used last time. Doesn't much matter. They are all good, they are all bad, if you understand my meaning. People pass and fail with all of them.

The important thing to do is read your CPR, and learn what your weak areas are. NO ONE here can possibly help you without knowing that. The thing with the review programs is that some focus more on strategies, some more on content review. Is your problem anxiety, over-thinking the problem? Is it prioritizing? Doing a thousand questions but not understanding why you are getting them wrong isn't going to be helpful to you, regardless of the data bank you use.

Read that CPR. Figure out where you need to put your effort. Then come back here and talk :)

@pedshopeful, I use hurst nclex, Kaplan nclex, and our school used ATI. I had a lot of psych question I didn't review much on it.

You had a lot of these questions because the computer recognized it as a weak area, and kept pounding questions to determine with certainty if you were at or above passing standard in the end. It determined you were not. So yes, obviously focus on that....Now read your CPR before you make any decisions on programs.

Maximum number of questions, all at nearly pass level, is actually a GOOD thing for you, moving forward! I means you have tweaking to do, not stripping down and starting over. More often than not, in this scenario, it's your strategizing that is the problem: you know the correct answer, but instead of CHOOSING the 'most correct' option, you go for the other one--the one that was nearly right, but in NCLEX world was wrong.

Focus on WHAT the question is REALLY asking you. What is the desired, absolute correct results according to NCLEX? You're close :)
