Did I pass the NCLEX?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I took the NCLEX exam today and it was terrible. Everytime I would read a question I would think, that is a no brainer, this is what needs to happen. Without fail, the answer I wanted was never there :scrying: . It was terrible. I graduated with 4.0 and I don't think I passed it. There were many things on there I've never even heard of. I know they are looking for a basic level of competency but what is that level? I didn't get any "basic" questions, I felt like they were all hard but the same hard. I didn't feel like they fluctuated in difficulty like I expected them to. I had 75 questions, do you think that is a good thing or that I just failed really badly. So worried. Please somebody help!!!!!!! :scrying:

The way I'm going to look at this test is I have 265 opportunities to prove myself, and if it's over in 75, all the better...cuz I'm gonna pass. :yeah:

That is a great way to look at it!

WAY TO GO! :yelclap:

thanks , and good luck to all that have to take their boards soon, it is a hectic time until you know if you have passed, and a great reward when it is all over.

I don't know how I did on the RN exam. I did not feel confident when I walked out of there this morning. I don't really feel like I passed. I could not believe when I walked out with only 75 questions answered.

i did not feel like i passed the exam, well lets just say this i only new of about three answers that i thought i got right..... I passed with 75 questions.... the last 10-12 were priority questons and i know i got the first question right, there were no math calculations or any of the select all that apply....They say from what i have read that the priority questions are higher level questions , so if you remember getting those towards the end, thats what happened to me....... good luck it is hell waiting for the results... so far 75 has been lucky on this site an others i have talked too.....

Hi everyone- I just took the NCLEX and I have no idea if I passed. I too got 75 questions. I got a lot of priority questions and also a lot of assignment questions- like a nurse is reassigned to another unit-which patient do you give? Did anyone eles get a lot of those? Also the same subject came up more than once for two different topics..what's up with that! I could not gauge the difficulty level really. Well, I guess all I can do now is wait....:uhoh3:

i had 75 , i also had alot of priority and selecting nurses that came from other floors to assign patients to.. It started out with med surge questions, and i would say the last 15 were priority .... exp. your the nurse and 4 people called on the phone which one would you call back first stuff like that.....towardsthe end ....keep your head hopefully you did wonderful...

Hi. At least all you 75ers didn't have the agony of going through all 265 questions. This was a total shocker for me to keep clicking to the next..next..next question. I had a lot of priority, no med calcs, 2 select all...what a nightmare. I don't know whether to feel good or bad.....just worried!

Has anyone had more than 75 questions? I took the NCLEX today and I had all 265 questions. I am freaking OUT. I made all A's in nursing school. How could I have failed the NCLEX? I had so many questions on contact precautions, radiation contact precautions oh my gosh. I even came home and tried to look some answers up and there was nothing in my NCLEX review book. HELP!!!!!!!!!

i passed .......................

congratulations!
