Wait at least 48 hours before checking the not-exactly-100%-reliable PVT as the test is scored twice. Wait for the unofficial, but accurate quick results. Check your BoN after 24-72 hours to see if your license number is posted. The only accurate pass/fail results are quick results and from your board of nursing.

First, I've read this trick isn't 100% accurate. The test gets scored twice and you could pass one scoring and ultimately fail in the end, or vice versa.

Second, I've heard that if you DO get charged, that means you failed.

Either way, good luck. Don't put too much merit behind this trick. Just wait for your results. Check the BON, and if your state does early results, pay the few extra bucks.

I recently experienced the same thing . I cut off early and tried the trick and declined my card . I failed . I am now preparing to retest . I WILL pass this 2nd time !

It's called a "trick" instead of "official results" because it is not reliable, it is a TRICK. It is a feature of the software registration program PV uses, and nothing more.

Credit cards are declined because an attempt to charge the card was made but there was not enough funds to do so. If you played with this 'trick' before the final scoring was complete, you don't know if you passed or failed.

Rudy: did you receive OFFICIAL results of your fail.....or are you relying on the trick?

Well if you did fail it would take your CC info

I did the trick 1st . Then I got the official results . In my opinion , the trick still works . I know some say it isn't accurate , but I haven't met anyone that has said they didn't get the good pop up but passed . That's just my opinion . I'm about to retest in a few weeks this time I don't plan on doing the trick at all I will just wait patiently for the 48 hours results that u pay 8 dollars for

U put the credit card info in but have have to hit submit . Once u hit submit A RED POP UP WILL APPEAR (if u passed) informing you that u have already registered .

Well if you did fail it would take your CC info

And if you try this trick before the second scoring of the exam is complete (and it scored your FIRST go-through as a "fail") it will most happily take your money.

The trouble comes when it scores it again; if you were deemed "fail" on the first scoring but were close enough that the next scoring comes out as "pass"....you will have donated 200 bucks for no reason. And yes....it's happened.

Thank you all for the hopes but I Failed it's official :( now what I swear I feel like giving up

It's okay . Don't give up .some of the best nurses didn't pass the first time . Take yourself a break to regroup , study , and then try again . You've come to far to give up . I know you can pass !
