My Kaplan scores on qbanks of 75? range in the mid 60's sometimes in the low 70's ...

Diagnostic got 69

readiness was a 64

trainers

5=59

6=64

7=60 (I hate 7 it was so long should've taken more breaks)

crazy thing is I'm so concerned about getting all the SATA so fingers crossed prayers and good vibes please :)

Wanted to let those who use Kaplan my current scores. I have found Kaplan to be great in improving critical thinking strategies. I find that I can read the question and pick out the needed information and kick out 2 of the answers in a short amount of time. I plan on taking the NCLEX in less then a week and I'm feeling ok but feel that I need more time. I find that there will never be enough time to learn all that could be presented to you. So learn how to think critically and choose the right answer. Here are my scores:

Diagnostic: 67

QT 1: 62

QT 2: 72

QT 3: 58

QT 4: 65

QT 5: 60

QT 6: 63

QT 7: 68 (buy far the most difficult)

Readiness: 63

I have completed over half of the QBank with a 65% average. I've heard if you are above 60% with your QBank questions you are doing well and have a good chance of passing per Kaplan.

Good luck to all who are testing soon. Keep the faith and remember to think like a nurse!

Hi! It seems like everyone is scoring pretty high on their Kaplan scores. Mine is very low and I hope and pray that I'm ready for next week! I'm scheduled to take mine on June 11th! Here's my scores so far..

Diagnostic: 53% (did this at 2am, don't know what I was thinking)

Q Trainer 1: 54%

Q Trainer 2: 46%

Q Trainer 3: 51%

Q Trainer 4: 60%

Q Trainer 5: 55%

Q Trainer 6: 56%

Q Trainer 7: still finding time to do this.

Readiness: 59%

Q bank: Completed 80%, with an average score of 61%

Good luck to everyone scheduled to take theirs. ?

WOOHOO!!! 75 ?'s and it turned blue that was the prettiest blue I ever saw I just stopped breathing for a second LOL Got home 30 min later and got the good pop up. Cypress College so prepared me for this. Their test would kill the NCLEX and Kaplan was way harder than the NCLEX. Good luck to everyone OMG on to find a BSN program hahahhahaahha

It totally is Kaplan is awesome and the Kaplan SATA are like burning hot pokers compared to the NCLEX so just do Kaplan and know your content youll be fine. I was very excited to take my test I prepared the best I could and was ready to attack it head on Mindylane I wish you all the luck in the world

To respond to the previous posts, I think saying that Kaplan was harder than the NCLEX gives many readers a bit of false security. I want to encourage you all preparing for the NCLEX to do everything Kaplan says and understand that the NCLEX is different for everyone and very subjective. You absolutely need to do all the Qbanks and trainers and I highly recommend watching the videos. I took the NCLEX a few days ago and did all of these in addition to the 4 practice exams (I did not read the book, I would not have retained it). I got the good pop up so I am assuming I passed after 180 questions. However, it was no easy task. In the first 75 questions, I had about 15 meds which truly took me by surprise (most people I've read only got a few if any). Some of the med questions r/t the Exhibit and SATA'S. I want to say that I had about 30-40 SATAs in the 180 and a couple were not too bad, but most of them were pretty hard. So, DO NOT slack on your studies thinking that if you got Kaplan you got the NCLEX. I would say the NCLEX is about the same as Kaplan and perhaps slightly harder. Again, this is from my experience and remember yours too will be unique. I was getting 78% at the end of the Kaplan training and my results are below. Study Study...

Diagnostic 56%

Q1 - 57

Q2 - 63

Q3 - 66

Q4 - 57

Q5 - 55

Q6 - 60

Q7 - 55

Q-bank - 100% - 63%

As you can see, super average scores. I did Q trainer 3 and 4 last hence why those scores got better after doing the other trainers (I know, backwards). So, if you have these scores you can rock NCLEX, I ranged from 48%-78% on the trainers. But I beg of you to have a realistic expectation to an exam that can be VERY challenging.

So just an update to let everyone know that I did PASS!!! I took my exam on 6/11 and only had 75 questions. I didn't count the amount of SATA but I felt like at least 40% of the exam included these questions. It seemed that if I felt that I answered the multiple choice correctly the next question was a SATA. Kaplan did help with the critical thinking but many of the answer choices were not what I expected so using those critical thinking skills came into play. Good luck to everyone!!!

You know, I had that same feeling as well. When I was sure the answer was correct, a SATA sure did follow... Congrats!!!
