  1. I did 1000 questions.. 42% correct and passed in 86 questions when I took my nclex yesterday. I like this app but felt the questions were harder than NCLEX.
  2. Congrats Rachael! Well said! I love everything what you wrote her and you covered everything from beginning to end! I also was in the same boat as you..I only scored in the 50's in the QTrainer and was so nervous when I took mine but I passed in 86 questions and got the same pop out! I hope mine is official as well! I can't wait to see my name on the BON! =)
  3. You're welcome! Sorry, I don't remember the link. But I can email it to you. What's your email?
  4. Hang in there.. And don't loose hope. Have you tried using the 35 page study guide? That helped me a lot when I took the nclex, Kaplan Qbank (i believe you can find it online free) I did questions 100-150 a day, I also used Lacharity PDA. Passed in 86 questions. Don't give up and don't lose hope. You can do this.
  5. Good luck! Remain calm.. Take deep breaths before starting and don't let negative thoughts enter your mind. Tell yourself you can do this! And I can assure YOU CAN!
  6. Cheer up.. It's hard but you have to stay positive and stay motivated and yes always pray. Failing doesn't mean it's over it's just an opportunity to pick yourself up again and keep trying. So many people fail and try again and what would happen to this world if anyone that failed stopped trying? Refocus and tell yourself "I can do this." What helped me was Kaplan course ( do atleast 100 questions per day), 35 page study guide and the Lacharity PDA book. Study hard and don't worry about who's partying you can party and celebrate when you pass' :)
  7. I think they prepared me really well. I don't think I would have passed if it weren't for Kaplan. Test taking strategies helped tremendously.
  8. My scores were way lower than yours and mine stopped at 86 questions and got the good pop up! Don't doubt yourself when you're ready.
  9. Oh and just to add I also used Lacharity PDA.. I completed 18 chapters.. I averaged about in the 50s and 80s on the chapter test.
  10. Hello everyone, I took the NCLEX today and it stopped at 86 questions first try..I tried PVT and got the good pop up! I'm still in disbelief because I felt like I guessed in half of those questions. Anyway, I wanted to share my experience because I know before I took the NCLEX I was panicking about what to study and how to prepare. And I would stalk this website to get some advice and read peoples stories.. The only study material I used was Kaplan on demand. I completed all Q trainers and 93% of the Qbank average at 62%, I also download NCLEX RN Mastery app on my iPhone, and the handy 35 page study guide. I did about 150-200 questions in the beginning and then towards the last week I did only 50-75 except for the QT 7. Here's my following Kaplan scores. It's not that high but it goes to show you it's possible.. And it's doable. Believe in yourself, pray, and have a positive attitude that YOU can also pass. Diagnostic test: 53% QT 1: 51% QT 2: 60% QT 3: 46% ( did this right after QT 2 over did it lol) QT 4: 54% QT 5: 55% QT 6: 56% QT 7: 55% Readiness: 59% If you have questions pls feel free to ask. Last advice I would like to give is. Don't skip a day without doing questions. Whether it's on your PC or phone.. Even if it's just 25-30 questions.. Keep the momentum going.. You can do it too! Believe in yourself and pray.
  11. Congratulations Carolina_mom!!! I test in a couple of days and I feel unprepared. did all the Qtrainers and 87% of the Qbank questions with 61% average. Were the SATA hard and did you think the NCLEX questions were similar to the Qtrainers or Qbank questions? I don't do well on the Q Trainers..I actually feel like the Qbank were much easier.
  12. Good luck! I'm testing in a couple of days! I'm also using Kaplan. So far here's my scores. QT 1: 51% QT 2: 60% QT 3: 46% QT 4: 53% QT 5: 54% QT 6: 56% Readiness is 59%. I've completed 87% of the Qbank questions with an average of 61%. I will let you know how it goes when I take mine. Best of luck to you! Those scores really good and I was also told that scoring above 60% is high chance that you will pass the NCLEX.
  13. Good Luck! You will do great! I've also been doing the Q trainers and Qbank questions..average on Qbank is only 61% with 87% completed. I still need to complete Q trainer 7 but won't be able to do. Best of luck and remain calm! I take mine in 2 days..yikes! :)
  14. Good Luck! Onehappywon! Let us know how you do!!!
  15. Hi! It seems like everyone is scoring pretty high on their Kaplan scores. Mine is very low and I hope and pray that I'm ready for next week! I'm scheduled to take mine on June 11th! Here's my scores so far.. Diagnostic: 53% (did this at 2am, don't know what I was thinking) Q Trainer 1: 54% Q Trainer 2: 46% Q Trainer 3: 51% Q Trainer 4: 60% Q Trainer 5: 55% Q Trainer 6: 56% Q Trainer 7: still finding time to do this. Readiness: 59% Q bank: Completed 80%, with an average score of 61% Good luck to everyone scheduled to take theirs. ?
