Am I ready to take the NCLEX?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am down to 2 weeks before taking my NCLEX. I'm getting nervous by the minute. I finished my Qbank on Kaplan and average of 57%, and ranging from 56-76%. I know it's low but I really try my hardest in answering those questions, it's very challenging. and I got 66% on my readiness exam. With these scores, do you think I can pass the NCLEX for the first time? HELP :(

It could go either way. The NCLEX is known as being unpredictable and predictor test scores are not perfect indicators of readiness. You should think about it awhile. Do you feel ready? If not, if you really feel like you are still out wandering in left or right field, then maybe you should consider rescheduling. Otherwise, go and do your best. Good luck.

i really want this to be over, I've been studying for 5 months. It's pretty exhausting but i hope to pass and wont resched.

I took Kaplan and my readiness score was 61% and I passed NCLEX my first try with 75q's. I thought Kaplan questions were harder than the NCLEX. I took my test when I got to the point that my brain couldn't contain anymore information. I was confident in the fact that I know what I know, then just went for it. I did have a study partner and we both passed. As we took our daily walks we would just quiz each other about random stuff...I guess it worked.

Good Luck to you! :D

You are ready, if you feel ready. No one can tell you if YOU are ready. If you have been studying HARDCORE for 5 months- then by all means take the test and have faith in yourself. If you can--try meditating ---it works!

I am wishing you comfront and joy before, during, and after the NCLEX.

dont over study

Thanks for the advice pips! I really appreciate it! I will let you know how did I do on my NCLEX. Yikes! Everyone who took Kaplan said their questions are harder than NCLEX, I hope so, because I know for sure that no matter question they would ask me, I should hit the right answer for them to evaluate me as a safe future RN. God bless to all of you :)
