Who else is waiting on a letter from Wcccd for the fall? I am getting really anxious!

count me in as waiting, jillian! i wish that it didn't take sooo freakin' long. have you started doing anything to prepare yet just in case you do get in, ie immunizations, physical, or cpr?

I am a little frustrated. I attended an information meeting last summer and it was before they started handing out "information meeting verification" forms. When I went to apply, they said you had to have one of these forms or you had to write the date that you attended a meeting on the front of the application so that they could look up the names on the sign in sheets. I did this and then I started thinking about it and I wanted to make sure this was okay, because I would hate for my application to be held back because of it. So I emailed the nursing office and they told me that I have to come into the Nursing office and find my name on the sign in sheets. It would have been nice to know that then. I would have already been there to do it had I known. I am a little stressed.

don't feel too bad...at least you went wth your first mind and contacted the nursing office. just think about the ones who listened to the same advice, but didn't do a follow-up. i feel bad for them because they were only doing what they were told to do and as a result, they might not get in because their apps may be looked at as incomplete. that's ridiculous! i'm trying to figure out why you have to find your name on the sign on sheet...isn't that their job to do the search? anyways, keep your head up and hope for the best. at this point, that's all you can do. i'll send up a prayer for you. take care and keep us posted as to how it goes when you go down there...

I'm at HFCC, the cpr we need is for health care providers. Im going through American Red Cross and I am taking my 4hr class this friday- it only cost $50. I was wondering how many do they accept for the fall semester? I am taking micro downriver, and the nursing students seem so nervous and fustrated.

congrats dita!!!!:smiley_aa i just got a call from two other friends (screaming) they got a letter!! i know you are on cloud nine at this moment....now do go off to meijers just telling random strangers you got accepted into nursing school....like i did......:bugeyes:...he,he,he!
