That's just ridiculous and hard to fathom. As a provider, I would certainly like to earn more than I would make working as a nurse. All that education and you are not getting properly compensated.

I am a new grad myself and have had several interviews. They are all different with questions ranging from behavioral type questions to clinical questions.
The one I looked into was 60K/yr, $500 for CME, FT employee benefits. No guarantees if you will be hired post-fellowship. Also, 20K sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment into the specialty.

That's the route that I'm probably going to take after school. I might do a one year fellowship in UC with the hospital system that I'm currently working in after graduation to gain more experience.
