I just applied for a hyperbaric job, since I know how to drive a chamber. The prospects doesn't look all that good the job opening is for a BSN, but I am the only person to apply so far.
Next choice is adult psych, I have been talking to a adolescent inpatient facility but I am not sure about it.
Then there is always ED.
ICU/MICU/CCU/NICU/ I would do it but would rather do something else.
Flight, I spent 6 years in the back of a Huey Air Ambulance I'll pass on that.
Peds, NO WAY, no problem with the children...
OB/L&D I can pass on that too.
Just my thought

If you are that easily insulted maybe you better rethink nursing or grow a much thicker skin.

The best place is where you are happy!!!!!! Some men flock to ER and ICU because it interests them. Some go into administration some go into hospice or outpatient clinics. Any speciality area is a good speciality, but I have heard it said that the best speciality area is the one that will pay you to come to work As a new grad i would keep my eye out for that one and build up the skill set from there.
