1* what's the overall cost of your program? $32,000- books, tuition, uniform, stethoscope, sphygmomanometer (i just love that word), cpr, just to sum it up total program, oh and nclex review now included.
amount that u have to pay overall? pell total $11,200, 45% miliary dependent discount, took off about another $10,000 for having so much transfer credit (a&p, pharm, have a current cna cert, current cpr cert, soc., physch, math etc etc.. basically all i need are the lvn core classes. ) to make a long story short they owed me money... at first i was scared of even attempting paying $32,000 but i was shocked when my financial aid and discounts went through.. i though i was going to have to take out loans (actually the 1st few months i applied for a $2,000 living expense loan because i was unaware my school owed me money; and i wasn't working at the time).. basically i got about 1/2 my financial aid (pell grant) paid to me by the school. i still have 6 months left and 1 more check! haha

The first term you will owe about $1,200 out of pocket, the second term $0....broken up into payments of course.

Mine is about $10,600, but that's if you're doing the whole thing, generals included. I have a BA already, so mine will be more like $6K or so. I can't remember if that includes books and stuff. I also don't know if that includes all the death-by-a-thousand-cuts fees (graduation: $35; online course fee: $10; application fee: $35, ad infinitum). It's about $1200/semester in tuition, according to the website.
We're paying out of pocket; I don't qualify for financial aid and I won't go into debt for school again. Ever.
[color=#ffa500]1* what's the overall cost of your program? $18,135 2* if u qualify for financial aid than what's the remaining amount that u have to pay overall?nothing. i have 60% tuition paid by the post 9-11 g.i. bill and the state of texas also gave me a wia grant of $7500, so i actually get over $6000 back because i also qualified for full financial aid. 3* what school r-u-goin' to? amount that U have to pay overall?
My school has partner with the Kaiser Permanete and has given each student $5,500 to go toward the program. Additionally, if you turn in your tax return from this year, program will give you an additional $2750. So, I turned in my tax return and was approved for the additional $2750. So overall, I have to pay $8,250 out of pocket. The LPN program is part of the Workforce and Development Prgram (Non-credit continuing education), so it does not qualify for FASFA, Stafford Loans, etc...
