What Is The Total Cost Of Your LVN/LPN Program?

2* if u qualify for financial aid than what's the remaining

amount that u have to pay overall?

3* what school r-u-goin' to?

4* where's your school located?

Total cost is $2900, with $140 for uniforms. I am going to Grossmont HOC in San Diego.

Tuition & books = $6000 (uniforms/scrubs, background check, physical & immunizations, graduation costs, state board application fees, etc. are not included)

Doubtful I will get financial aid. Making plans to pay out of pocket.

Will be attending an adult school in Northern California. It blows my mind to see how many people are paying $15,000-35,000 for their LVN educations! I chose a school with a good success rate that doesn't cost a mint, because I still want to go on to an LVN-RN bridge program later.

@WahineMakai- would you mind sharing what program you're in? I'd be willing to drive out to wherever offers an LVN program in Northern California for $6000. I'd appreciate if you could tell me where this is. Thanks in advance!

I graduated from Fresno Adult School in Fresno, CA. This school is partially funded by the state, so there is no qualifying for financial aid. The total cost of the 14 month program for me was around $2000. The total fees were around $1400 I believe and the rest was just uniforms and books. I did save some money by buying all used books, but even if you buy all new its still a great deal.

Cost 15,000 12 month program, Louisiana no money will be left over pell is on 5700 a year.. had to get a student loan to cover the rest. Pell didnt even cover half.. but im at a university so the price is always more

Cost 20k no loans, financial aid, all out of pocket, im in New York

Oh lord I couldn't aford it with out financial aide.. that alot.. then ine of my classmates told me if I work in a none profit hospital two years they forgive your student loans..
