Hi guys! I am taking the entrance exam for the LPN program at ES BOCES in 11 days. I have been studying a lot but I'm still really nervous about the math section. Can anyone give me some examples of what types of questions will be on the test? I am mostly worried about the word problems. I'm really wondering about the difficulty level. Thanks for the help!!!

Heyy, OMG Congrats!! =) =) I actually just had my interview with them on Wed. I'm in the process of getting all of my references done (I wish they gave us the forms earlier, def would have been extra helpful lol) and getting my high school transcript.
Ahhhh, I'm really nervous though . I was sent to financial aid right after my interview though and I already filled out and completed my fafsa the same night that I had the interview.
I'm still hoping and praying that there will still be a spot left for me in the day program.

Maybe I should get some references as well just encase! Currently i'm volunteering at Kaiser Permanete, and they are one of the clinicals for the school so hopefully I do them at Kaiser. My dream hospital!

I'm glad I was able to help =) Yea, references are always a good thing =) I'm still getting mine together, unfortunately one of my old teachers is in Greece right now so I have to wait another few days. I wanted to turn my packet in this week but I'll be a little delayed =( I would have normally just turned in whatever I have (transcript)and and kept on sending whatever else I needed along the way as I got it,(references) but they want everything collected together all at once =(
Super excited! I received my acceptance letter not too long ago. I got the day program which was a must for me. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from financial aid and the workshop in June. Anyone else starting ES boces this Sept?
I'm takin my teas test on the 30th and I'm nervous as hell!! I hope I pass. Im studying up on my math and science now. How are the scinece question? From reading this, pretty much know what too expect from the math. And thank u ladies for the helpful tips.

Hmm, maybe I should play the lotto tonight lol. I actually randomly got a message back from a person I used to dj with/for during the summer's years ago and he said that if I was still stuck and waiting that he would have no problem filling one out for me. So,yay! I'm meeting him in the am, and then I'm off to drop off my packet at the school (I don't want to have to wait even longer while it's in the mail.) Hopefully, there is still a day spot left =)
My parents told me that my packet from them just came in the mail today and it said I got accepted into the full time program (aka-the day program at esb lol) so I literally got what I was hoping for. Yay!!!
