i wanna get my feet done, hair done and move into new apartment....next........

I want to pass Nclex and take a vacation!!! Then prepare to work and go back to school.

I graduate in 20 days and I want to take my family on a much needed vacation for a few days. Maybe some place like Great Wolf Lakes in Texas.

a nice dinner party with close family & friends... Vacation with the husband... no kids; we've both been in nursing school this last year in different programs... time alone is much needed!!! :yeah:

I'm going to not take much of a break because I need money right away to pay off my school balance so I can even get my diploma and transcripts. Even if I have to take a job at a retail store in the meantime, it will be done. I just need $2000, which might take a while. Hopefully my family can help, although I don't plan on it too much. I may go to a concert for one of my fav bands if they're in town around that time. I need to verify their dates. They said I could do some work for them promoting the show, maybe I'll get paid, most likely not.

Pretty much, I won't do anything. Maybe eat. Booo at my life!

I want to sleep in or take a week off from work and do absolutely nothing! Granted that won't happen - I'll probably take a vacation with my family. (even though I'd prefer on just by myself!!!)

I graduated May 19th and spent the next 6 weeks working and studying for NCLEX. I literally only left the house to go to the store or go to work! And, sometimes while at work, I was studying (I was doing home care at the time). I wanted to have a party or do something nice with my family on graduation day but I had a double ear infection that I got the night before graduation...what are the odds?!?! My family did take me out for dinner but I was MISERABLE and came home and went to bed.

I took NCLEX on June 11 and passed (thankfully) and had been applying for jobs before that. I interviewed at two places and got a job, on the spot, as an ADON/MDS coordinator. So, since then, I've been working my ass off lol. No time for vacation here!

I start my BSN-MSN bridge program on Monday, July 9th, at Chamberlain... I think I must be crazy! I had all these big plans of going on a trip, even if only a few days, and I haven't done squat!!

My parents were going to send me to NY to visit my friend for a week, but I started my new job too soon. BOO!

My life sucks, too ;) But it will work itself out and hopefully, SOON, we will both be rollin' in some cash and going on some trips.

Haha, I understand the wanting to sleep in thing! :) That being said, like my other post says, I had a double ear infection, so while I DID sleep A LOT, I was miserable :(

Definitely catch up on sleep because once you're working, you will not get any!

I don't sleep much now. I work in the mornings and go to class/clinical at nights my rotations now are from 4p-1230a it's hard!!

We had this past week off and I got sick at the beach last weekend I have bronchitis....I've never in my life had it before nor have I been this sick in years!!

For sure at the last sentence!

Whoa, that sounds like a pretty hot shot job! How did you swing that one? I would like to get into infection control or research, but the constant echoes of "You must have at least a year of bedside nursing" is always in my head.

My hubby and I took 3wks and drove from Maine to Spokane, WA. I came home, took my boards the next day. In a couple days I had the passing results and immediately started orientation at the hospital. I am so glad I didn't spend those 3wks cramming for the boards.
