Does BRCC still mail out acceptance letters in June??? I'm eager to know!! If so, I have a long wait!

Yeah, that's who we bring our lab results to. And everything else that's due on the 28th. He's in Rm 212.

Oooooo. I thought C@&$:e get those too!

This was the exact package they said to get: LINK

I think it's the same thing, but this one comes with Nursing Skills DVDs.

Any specifics on the class schedule?? I was told classes will be on Tues & Wed from 8-10:30. Lab/clinical on thurs or Friday depending on which group you are put in, but I need FACTs! I wanted to tell my boss my schedule, but I have NO clue!!!

One more question-

I'm basically done with my packet, I just need to get uniforms. Did you get 1 or 2 sets of scrubs?? I'm guessing if clinicals are only once a week... One set of scrubs should be fine.

Yesterday at the CPR class we were told that clinicals will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It's only once a week so depending on the group you're in will determine the day you go. The CPR instructor will also be our Fundamentals instructor in the fall. She hadn't received a schedule yet so she wasn't sure of anything else. On clinical days the hours are 6:30-noon (i think) at the hospital. Clinicals don't start until mid semester though, after the first 6 weeks of class.

As far as uniforms I would probably get one of each for now. Do you happen to wear a size medium? If so, you can buy one of my polo's from me. I ordered 2 thinking I would be wearing them alot. After yesterday I was informed that we wear the polo's on the days we pick up our clinical assignment at the hospital. That's it. There is absolutely no need to order 2 polo's so if you wear a medium you can buy mine! I'm stuck with it considering it was ordered and it was already sent off to be monogrammed :(

Or if anyone else needs a polo let me know! :)

Ok... Just called Ms. C....ie & she said no class on Thursdays, but she doesn't know the rest of the schedule!

I just bought my scrubs at lunch!! Dang! I got a Med too! They were out of hemostats.

Good to know! Especially since I've scheduled a 6-9pm class on Thursday and was worried about having a 6am-9pm day.

So then we'll probably have lab/clinical on Tuesday or Wednesday (depending which group you're in), and lectures on Monday and Friday morning (we're all crammed together for those).

But just a little warning, from my friend that's in her second year... they sometimes had clinicals on Saturdays, randomly.

No, clinicals are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays according to our instructor, depending on the group you're in. So if your clinical is on Tuesday, lab and lecture days will be between Monday, Wednesday and Friday

I meant to write it that way. Sorry for the confusion!

But your lab is the same day as your clinical. You're in lab for the first 6 weeks, then in the hospital for the second 6 weeks. And if lab/clinical days are Tuesday and Wednesday and there isn't anything on Thursday, then we'll definitely have our lectures on Monday and Friday. We're not broken into groups for those. Everyone's in the same class.

We're only there 3 days a week. 2 days of lecture, 1 day of lab/clinical.

Who's ready??? 2 more months!!!!!!!!!

They emailed a list of the books. It's the same as the bookstore's list EXCEPT the pharmacology book was different.
