Have u got a call from O G P?

Hi,

I am not with O G P, a U K based agency.

But, few freinds who are with OGP, all of them got a call/email from OGP saying retro will finish by April/May and need to be ready with all paper work...?? We have not seen any such movement. But, Y they said this? Is there any assurance they might have got from sourses in Washington DC..? Any clue..?

Have you got any calls/emails like this?

Everyone breath and try to relax. :saint: The current uncertainty about if retrogression will ever be lifted soon is getting to everyone.

Im not so sure its just retrogression getting everyone down to be honest i think the whole process is enough to get to people without the added stress of everything else.

I can honestly say i could pack it all in at the drop of the hat ifi feel anymore pressure from my agency......

Yeah, the whole process is just stressful and frustrating.

My manager has just interviewed international nurses with another company to OGP and they told her retrogression would be over April/ May but not to expect the nurses until feb 2008, to allw for the whole process to be complete, have to be honest and say I don't know what stage they will allow their nurses to interview.

it is all speculation at the moment another bill was introduced Friday but we have all seen these bills introduced and fail we just need to keep the faith and believe retrogression will be lifted sooner rather than later.

Even if the bill was passed it would take months to filter down to the embassy's etc but no one can predict how long, probably only going of previous retrogression.

Just hanging in here trying to stay positive :uhoh3:

Not sure where they are getting their information from, but there is not one word out. And even those that think they are insiders to information have been proved wrong time after time.

Right now, current talk is that something should be signed by August. And then another 90 days until visas are available. This is already mid-April, so nothing is going to end this month. And when ever they announce that there will be visas available, it is always 90 days until they are actually available.

There is not one way that anyone can gaurantee anything right now. No one has any idea of when things will finish. And to promise any type of date is just bad business. And then where are they in the process of getting thru immigration? There are still thousands that are in front of them waiting.

And I do hope that your manager does not put them on the schedule with

a start date then, or she will definitely have egg on her face, as we say.

Suggest that your manager had a good look at the actual information that is out there and see for herself what is going on. There is not one agency anywhere in the world that has insider information into this.

Please send me the name of this wonderful agency via pm. Would love to see what else they are promising. .....to unsuspecting victims.

I did talk to her initially about it and since, given that its so far away don't think she's that concerned yet but I'm sure as the time gets closer she'll wonder whats going on.

I'll get the name of the agency and let you know.
