is it possible to get a job in US from outside of US?(without brokers)

are there any staffing companies or hospitals which are supporting visa sponsorship for international nurses?

if it's possible, i would like to keep applying but if it's not possible, I will need to make a unfair contract with consulting company.

please anyone help me

Do not waste your money! Depending on the area most hospitals aren't sponsoring foreign nurses. There is no need to go abroad when there are a lot of people here in the US who are looking for jobs. But if you really want to try I would suggest that you contact hospitals directly and ask them for yourself. That would be best. Best of luck

thank you very much for your reply :D

I have friend of mine, he got a job in FL. he's from philippines too. But idk what agency.. maybe try to look some agency that is sending nurses in FL. Sorry not enough info. But one thing is for sure. He did not use a lot of money for that, intact the agency paid everything for him. I think he stays in Manila before.

well, I'm in Korea. :D

thank you very mucy for your reply! Actally I found one agency(white glove) and sent them an email with my resume.

I got their reply with a letter of agreement(?) few days ago

now, I'm gonna read the paper to compare with the other agency(connected to 20K Korean agency)

your reply is quite helpful for me, thx again! :)

I would concentrate in areas where (I hate to say) most people don't want to live. Small towns away from the big cities. It doesn't hurt to try. Also before you pick the place make sure that you're allowed to gain licensure in that state. Once you have licensure in that state then you can start contacting hospitals or nursing homes one by one. Don't waste your money paying a company to do the work you can do yourself. Plus they could be ripping you off. But be prepared that most hospitals will probably turn you away but at least you can say you tried and not wonder what if.Best of luck.

What state are you licensed in now?

New York :)

I have seen employment ads that stated the employer gets involved with out of country sourced applicants, sponsoring or such, often enough to be memorable. I would suggest that you look for general employment websites for such ads in the area where you want to live and work, as well as looking on specific employer websites for such opportunities. I would suppose that you could connect with such an employer without any extra expense at all. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your reply!-you gave me hope~!

I keep checking websites, but the problem is that I do not have any idea of

the companies lol So, I'm keeping posting, asking, and searching to get some

information of the companies, too

Btw, if you know any agency or websites for international nurses, could you kindly let me know, please?

Thx

You have to do a little sleuthing to find individual employers. A general search, such as "healthcare employment", or "nurse employment", or "hospitals", for the location might lead to something. The ads I have seen have been in general employment sites, such as careerbuilder dot com, indeed dot com, monster dot com, etc.

Contact the hospitals directly but most aren't recruiting internationally. Don't waste your money.

Yes it is possible! I just got a job offer, passed my nclex on november 21st of this yr. I didn't want to join any agency because they take a big chunk of your money, anyway the job I got is in texas, if you are mexican or from canada you can apply for a TN visa and that one takes about 3wks for you to get. This was the process I did, first I applied online to a hospital which I knew was hiring international nurses, then I got an email telling me if I can go to the hospital for the interview, I accepted, I really have no expierience so I'm glad this hospital is accepting nurses with no expierience, so I got accepted and have a job offer letter, now I need to apply for my visa, If anybody is interested you can private message me, THE TN VISA IS ONLY FOR CANADIANS AND MEXICANS.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Th OP is not a Canadian or Mexican citizen so the TN visa is not applicable.
