Someone told me that in England when a dialysis patient reaches a certain age they are are no longer eligible for it. Is this true???

No it isn't true, infact the NSF for older people is trying to root out ageist practices such as withdrawing treatments due to age!
I have worked on a renal ward where some patients ,who where mostly elderly had opted not to have dialysis anymore, but they are re asked and the paper work is very (CYA) thorough, in acse the family turn around and try to sue.
