I can't believe it. I have read in the past I wouldn't hear until the end of March or April to know if I was accepted. To my very happy surprise, I got my letter in the mail today! Let the games begin.....anyone else here from GPC? Good luck to you all!

Thanks for your replies, everyone! The more I think about it, the more I am leaning toward GPC. I'm grateful to have been accepted and I don't take it for granted. I'm just ready to get started serving the community as a nursing student and eventually a nurse. Best wished to you all in your endeavors. I'll keep you posted!:)

Has anyone started getting their uniforms and supplies? Besides the nursing uniform, where is everyone getting their nursing/medical supplies/equipment. Thanks!

I was planning on getting everything from meridys at the same time I order uniforms. Have any of you done the background check and drug test?

I did the background check right when we got word from GPC we would need one. I did the drug test about three weeks ago. I have all my shots except the Hep B. I had the first one, now I go back in a week for number two....will have to show the school the process is started since there is no way to have all three shots since there is a seven month time frame from shot one to shot three.

I anyone going to take the optional pass/no pass class in July?

I wasn't planning on taking the class but I'm not sure. Will you be taking it? I counted today and only 9 weeks till orientation and about 11 until we start! It'll be here before we know it.

That is the website I used to find and register for my class. And as far as the medical form I know that a Dr has to fill out and sign the physical part, and sign verifying all the immunizations
