Finally I get summer break, I've been non stop for 2-1/2 yrs since I first started the pre-req's and other GE requirements, we just finished OB I (finally got that ever elusive A AND a 100% on a lecture exam )which was a nice break from Stats & Sociology lol we go back the 27th for Med/Surg II, which we have journal summaries and such due through out the semester but why wait till then lol I almost wish we didn't have the next 27 days off and just jumped back in, note the almost there lol Next bright spot is my birthday which just happens to be the day I send all 3 of my monkies err I mean adorable sweet little ones back to school :lol2:

I just finished my last final today too!

Amen, woohoo, [bANANA]shake your booty!!!!! [/bANANA]

I already have a non-nursing book lined up for my pleasure and the husband is picking up Harry Potter for me today!

I will take a peek at my med surg book and make sure to study some patho within the next month but I am not going to overdo it.

Got to make the most of it before I go back to nursing school jail.

Lucky! I've got about another week and a half, then I get a whole 2 1/2 weeks off before fall. Not much but it sounds like heaven, esp since one of those weeks will be at the beach!

I am right there with you. Since starting the actual nursing program (no pre req's the "real deal" ) we have been going non stop with a whole SIX day break (including spring break lol). Today was our last day of clinical in ob and we are off until the 20th YAY!!!! We are headed to NC for a week this weekend can't wait! It sounds like we are right on the same track I start med/surg II and psych on the 20th when do you graduate?

HAVE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY:balloons:!!! And enjoy your family for your 26 days!

Oh, good. I am not the only insane nursing student out there who has been going to school non-stop since beginning this journey. I just finished summer school classes and will be entering my second semester as well. However unlike the rest of you I will not have time to read a non nursing book. I have summer reading before school starts so short of this wonderful forum (the non-nursing school related threads) and news I find on the INTERNET, I will be spending my short 2 week vacation reading nursing related materials. Fortunately for me I love this stuff!!! Medical Surgical here I come!!!

I am so excited to get started again! I am currently working at the hospital and have had time to practice nursing assessments and patient safety, but I cannot wait to use my nursing skills and write up care plans again (I'll change my mind once I have more then one patient). GL. :lol2:

Just finished Musing Management this week and got an A. Leaving this weekend to go up north and have a nice relaxing week of leisure reading and R&R. The it's back to math and reading up for the new semester. Enjoy your few weeks off!

My break finally came too, now I have the time to focus on my financial aid struggle and practice how to take blood pressure and have some fun time as well because im entering 'hell' and 'bootcamp' soon:trout:
