I start clinicals for a cna class Saturday and I just realized that white scrubs are very...see through.
I'm very new to all of this so I don't know what I can wear underneath the pants and top...I've heard youre not supposed to wear long sleeved shirts because they catch germs and whatnot.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
How ridiculous is it that any nursing program administrators would choose a uniform such that they must have an underwear policy? How ridiculous is it that there are people who must be told what underwear is appropriate or not? Some things really should be common sense, and this is one of those things. I am continually awestruck that this type of thing continues to be an issue. Amazing!

Our program is all white, but in the fall we change to white top maroon bottoms. Our handbook talks about appropriate underwear. I don't recall the exact language, and only white tops under the scrub tops. Long sleeves are ok.
My top isn't too low cut, and I wear camisoles under them. I wear granny panties - yes my husband howled the first time I put them on - but I like the coverage.
I have seen many a roving eye in the hospital checking out the nurses bums for panty lines. I don't want to be inviting any trouble, but I'm old and chunky, so I don't think they are looking to close at me :). Those hospital rooms can be small and have lots of equipment, we twist and turn into all positions and don't know whose eyes are roaming where on us.
