Yep, I took Written Communications, Sociology, Tech Reporting, and something else....can't remember. What do you want to know?
Did you like it?

I took a writing class on line and really enjoyed it. It was very well organized and had lots of accountability... we had to check in several times a week just like a regular class.
It worked out very well for me. I've thought of trying to take Abnormal Psych that but haven't found an online class yet.
ps... where are you in MI... I lived in Grand Ledge/Lansing for 3 1/2 years... military husband moves me around a lot.

I took chemistry online. It still had an on-campus lab element though. It was fine, very self directed. Read the book and check in on a regular basis basically.
I would, and am doing it again. I'll be taking Intro to Psych this summer online.

I am taking a telecourse this semester and my husband is taking an online course this semester. Both have been a lot more work than I thought they would be. As long as you don't go in with the attitude that they will be easier than a traditional class you will be fine. I have been surprised that it has been a lot more work than I thought it would be. My hubby's online class has been an absolute headache. The college has had so many technical problems that they keep changing his schedule on what they want done and then you can't get responses back from the instructor, big headache, but he is getting an A in the class. Without it would be impossible for my husband to go to school at the same time as me.

I am taking a course this Spring quarter where the lectures are on videotape. I've already started it (the quarter doesn't officially start until next week though) and so far, I'm really enjoying it. It is an Intro to Healthcare Delivery course...very basic.
I plan on taking a few other courses online in the coming quarters. I've taken one online course in the past (a writing course) and really enjoyed it. I could take it as quickly or as slowly as I wished and the interaction with the instructor via emails was right up my cyber-alley!
Since I work full time during the week & am taking evening classes, online & video courses are a great way for me to be able to take more than one or two courses per quarter.

I have taken almost all of my pre reqs online. I really like doing it that way personally. I cant say its any easier to do them online than in classroom though. I have really enjoyed them. Ill be taking 1-2 classes online this summer as well.

I have taken several courses online and I love it. It really frees up my time at home with the kids since I work full-time now. I am currently taking 12 credit hours and I would not be able to do that if I had to go to the college. Most of the online course do require alot of work. I've had two that only had reading and some tests, the others required weekly work to turn in. What you have to do is make sure you keep up with the work and don't fall behind. In my online humanities course that I am taking now, every Monday she releases a new segment that we have to work on.
Good luck!!

Do it if you can! I took English, Psych & History through different distance formats. All of them used the internet, and 2 of them were also video/TV courses.
It's much nicer to be able email assignments and take notes at home sitting on the couch I wish I could've done more that way but what seats are available go fast.
