I finished my first semester of nursing school today!
I'm hoping I'm coming out with at least a 3.3... may be higher, but I'd be surprised. I am actually amazed at how well I did do. I'm not a tester and all of our scores were based on tests. To add to the stress, 2 of my instructors write for the NCLEX. My pharm class was a killer... average grade was about 75... but I ended it with an 85 on my final, an 83 for the course. Most people beg the instructor for the C. I am so relieved!
I got a strong A in health assessment, hope to have pulled an A out of fundamentals... might be a high B though. I'm just so relieved to be done... and to have kept my GPA high enough to keep my scholarship. WOOHOO!!
Oh, and tomorrow I have a reservation for a lady pamper day at the local beauty college. I'll get a 45 minute facial massage, hair do, finger and toe nails. OOOHHH, that will be soooooo nice!
Good luck to the rest of you studying for finals!:)

Something to remember is a C is still part of normal on the bell curve and a C or better for most schools rings the bell. Nice to hear that you feel accomplished, that will make next semester a bit easier.
Pharmocology just started and will grow with you as your grow in your profession, you will become good friends, you'll see

Way to go, Kid!
Two things to remember:
1 Now you start to learn how to be a nurse.
2 The patient in the bed in front of you doesn't care if you got an A or B in Nursing 101, he only wants to know if you can help him.
