I love this website.
Oct 26, '07Hello everyone!!
I'm Diamond and I am a wife and the mother of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 6-12. My husband is currently serving his second tour in Iraq in 3 years, he's been gone for 1 year so far this tour. I have five classes this semester. I am on the waitlist for my current school's ADN program, and am applying to BSN programs since it will take the same amount of time. Hopefully handling this stress will help me a little to prepare for the stresses of the nursing program.
I wish you all well!!
Nov 2, '07I am Jess. Wife and mother to three daughters. I live in Missouri and worked my butt off to be accepted into amy first try - and it paid off. I was accepted in July for Spring 2008, ASN. I have been a NA on/off for 11 years and enjoyed it.
I've taken 3 semesters at my local community college to get as many "general" classes as I could out of my way before entering the program and I have successfully taken all that is needed - so when in NS I will have only nursing courses to take.
My expected graduation date is July 2010 (seems so far away!!).
I currently work PT at the community college I attended. I work in the testing area giving make-up exams and placement exams. Very non-stressful and easy going. I would like to go into mental health when I graduate - but that remains to be seen - may change my mind when the time comes.
I've been reading all the forums all morning! Thanks for being here!Last edit by Jess_Missouri_RN on Nov 2, '07 : Reason: spelling :P

Nov 3, '07Hi - I am Juliana and have just begun my LPN clinical. I am not very computer friendly and am having a little difficulty with this site. I need to find an LPN that will let me interview her for an assignment.
wish me luck
Nov 3, '07Hi - I'm Juli in Kansas. I haven't had any experience in the medical field. I just started my LPN clinical and feel as though I am behind all the other girls that have been CNAs for forever. I have to work twice as hard sometimes. But it will be worth it!
Nov 3, '07Hi, my name is Iris. I will be starting an accelerated BSN program in January 2008. I graduated this past May with a BS in Psychology.
