I needed a 2.5 for the nursing degree

I finally finshed Nursing School before being transferred to my last duty station. Went on a 7 month deployment and found out that I passed the last class but my GPA was a 2.46 and I needed a 2.5 for the degree. I am retired now and lost everything during Nursing School. ls there anything I can do ? I dont even care about the degree I just want to be able to take the NClex

You need to actually graduate from a nursing program to get authorization to take NCLEX. If they required a 2.5 and you didn't meet that requirement, things don't look good.

You can't take the NCLEX without the degree.

Can you challenge the LPN exam? It varies by state, you should look into it as an option?

Can you take additional "fluff" classes to increase your GPA?

Will your former school allow you to take a couple of courses to boost your grade point average above the minimum 2.5 GPA threshold? Inquiring about this possibility is worth a shot.

Is the 2.5 requirement for your nursing GPA or overall GPA? If it is the latter, just take more classes to boost your GPA.

Check if you can retake one of the nonnursing classes, for a higher grade.
