My first test is monday and like everyone else I imagine we are all wondering if we studied smart. If you've already had your first test what if any changes are you going to make to your study method to hopefully improve your grade on the next test? Any words of wisdom?
I got an 86. I didn't read any of the chapters. I went over the power point notes, made flash cards of the key terms and did the NCLEX style questions on the books website. When we were reviewing the test I noticed that I had only missed one question until I got to number 58 (out of 75). That is when other students started getting up to leave because they were done, and obviously it distracted me. I know that's when I started to hurry up and I missed A LOT after that. Next time I will be using ear pugs during the exam.
I got an 88 which im not really happy with but still glad i passed. I have a bunch of Fundamental Success books with test questions they are really helpful. Also I have an itouch and was able to download a great app for 3 dollars. I use index card..and lots of test questions! I like the idea about the ear pugs because i was easily distracted also. Im hoping to get an A on my next test which is fri

It's been over a year since my first exam but if I recall I got a 90 on it. It was for Fundamentals. I prefer nursing school style tests. I know I am the odd man out on that, but it's definitely more my type of style.
