End of Semester OVERLOAD!!

Hi all you student nurses! How are things going for you? I just found out today that after Thanksgiving, we have a test on Thursday the 4th another test on Friday the 12th and the FINAL Monady the 15th!!

That is THREE tests in 2 WEEKS!!:eek:

We only go to school Monday of next week, and that is clinicals. NO lecture to help us prepare for these tests!! I am freaking out BIG time.

There was a mix-up on the final exam schedule. Orginially, our final was on Wednesday the 17th. Cool, I thought. That gives me the entire weekend and Mon. and Tuesday to study. NOT!!!

Now I have to study for the final AND these two tests!! I have done so well up to this point, but I just don';t see how I'll be able to make good grades on these last two tests!!

I need aome encouragement before I go flush myself down the toilet!!

HELP!!

I once had 3 big tests in one day while I was taking my prereqs so don't feel bad. Just stay focused and study smart.

I had a midterm like that last semester. These tests are ALL in nursing ALL in the same class and the final is comprehensive. We have a Test 3 days before the final! So I have to study all the other Content sections AND study for these two tests [that we haven't covered yet] and study for the final.

MAJOR league overwhelming. + I babysit for an 11 y/o boy and the neighbor boys [13, and 7] come over EVERY day to play with my boys [13, 11 and 8]. So I am looking at 6 boys in my house, yelling jumping and just being boys, EVERY day forever. :D :eek:

Life is good and God will get me through, but I may not have any hair left by December 15th. :chuckle :chuckle

My head-to-toe assessment practicum is December 2nd, my fourth exam is on December 5th and my cumulative final is on December 15th. I feel so overwhelmed I can hardly stand it.

karen, i know how you feel. we will have 3 tests and a final between the dates of dec.4 and dec. 16 [final].

I know how you feel. This week we had our nursing exam, our math competency test, and our graded care plan was due. I am still so wound up about all of it. You'll do fine. just take a deep breath and try and relax.

I hear ya.. this week is the end of our first level for the yr. We had our last 2 unit exams in both classes (A&P & Fund.) & both finals.. Tues was the only day with no test.. only one left.. thank god!!!! I feel like my head won't stop spinning!

In the past week, we have had a Health Assessment exam, a Foundations of Nursing exam, a Pharmacology exam, a 4-6 page reflection paper due, 20-25 drug cards due, and a rough draft of 2 care plans. ARRRRGGHHH!!!!

And Monday after Thanksgiving, our final care plans are due, along with 2 more exams. Then, we have our lab final in Assessment. The week after that is all 3 written final exams. I think they are trying to kill us!!!!

5 tests in 5 days. I'm burnt but it's almost over. Tomorrow is my 5th test, then it's smooth sailing till the end of the term.

I'm with you all too.

I have 3 tests in Micro (1 lab and 2 lecture) in the same week

I have 2 Physio tests in the same week

2 Sociology tests in same week

1 Regligion test in same week

Its like this at the end of every semester for me though it seems with finals, this is always the most stressful time but also I'm always so damn happy cause the semester is almost over!!

You will do great! Bust your butt with studying girl cause it's almost over!!

I sooo understand!! Monday Final in Dosage Calc, presentation on alcoholism for Community Health. Exam in Fund. on Tues. Wed. practical on IV lines and Cath's. Thanksgiving break. Mon exam in Parent Child, Tues. exam in Med Surg. Wed. learn assesment and med pass (shots here too). Thurs. practical on the stuff we learned wed. Fri Final in Pharm. Mon. Final in Parent Child and Comm. Health, Tues. final in Med Surg and Fund.

Yea, I'm gonna relax over Thanksgiving break:roll
