Do you keep old flashcards and do you have an organized way of storing them?

I have a ton of them, but if I can't think of a decent way to store them I'm a gettin' rid of 'em! Do you think they'd come in handy at NCLEX time? Is there any other reason to keep them?

I stored flashcards in those clear plastic shoeboxes.

work well too if you use 3x5 cards.

I use these coupon holders that I got at target...they are different colors and have seperate sections with tabs...portable too.

I use virtual flashcards at http://www.studystack.com

That site is completely awesome.

Works so much better for me than regular index cards.

Check it out!

That site is SO COOL!

Thank you for sharing that, I am super excited! I'm gonna try it for my next semester. Right now I have to study my notebooks for the final but woohoo I am looking forward to trying that!

Thanks for the site... can you print the cards from there?

I have used another site to make cards and study games, too: Quia

But I haven't found one that will print them too (at least in any kind of usable way).

I hope you all enjoy the site as much as I do. :)

I'm not sure about any means of officially printing the cards.

I mean, I'm sure you could print them with the print screen option but I suppose the quality would depend on the grade of your printer. You'd probably have to take whatever size they pop out.

I cannot tell you how much Study Stack helped me for the memorization of body parts and physiology in A&P I. I also credit the site for helping me to memorize drug information for my ceritification as a pharmacy tech.

I look forward to many games of matching, memorizing, and flipping there come A&P II in the Fall.

At the end of each class all the materials such as notes, notebooks, flashcards, etc. go into a file in my file cabinet. That way I can pull them out again when ever I need them.

Someday when I'm sure I'm through with them I'm gonna have a huge bonfire :)

I have mine in small packs, by subject. I grab a pack to go with me anywhere because they're so portable, and I plan to keep them until I pass the NCLEX.
