Hi everyone, well the stress is over. 347 applicants, 70 accepted to program and I was not one of them. I am really bumming here. I have submitted for entrance for 4 different schools, but this was my first pick, would have been my preferance. I have a good gpa, 3.5, scored 78 on NET, and only have 2 pre reqs left, which will be done by fall. I know I was qualifed, but the gpa and NET weren't good enough.

Needless to say, I am pretty crushed right now. I work as hard as I can, married, have 3 yo and work full time along with school part time. I just feel like I have wasted a lot of time and $$ the last 2 years to have it turn out this way.

Sorry for the big bummer, but thanks for letting me vent it out.

Awww, sorry to hear that but don't give up, keep trying and my thoughts are with you. Best wishes and I hope one of your other schools work out for you.

Yes, definately hang in there, that's only the response from one school. I also applied to about 4 different schools just in case one or some didn't work out. Just think that your chances of getting in are better since you applied to more than one school. Don't draw any conclusions about time wasted until you have received word from all of the schools.

I just got denied, too. I posted above you about it. At least you have more than one school you can go to. Mine is the only one within driving distance around here. So I'm going for my LPN now. We have too many similarities. I'm married with a 3 year old boy, have a 3.0 GPA and scored 80 on the NET, and have 2 pre-reqs to finish. Your time is not wasted because you WILL get in someday. Just not when you wanted, but you will. Good luck to us both!

I'm so sorry! I know exactly how frustrating it is to do your best, but still be denied.

I know they're not your first choices, but I hope one of the other schools come through with a nice acceptance letter - soon!

Hi Lori,

I'm sorry things didn't turn out well with your first choice - but hopefully you'll get some good new from one of the other schools. You were smart applying to more than one school. I only applied to one (the closest one to me) so I'm just hoping for the best.

Do not give up, I was denied too and got into another school. May God continue to bless Florida State University! I was devastated when I was denied two times. You will be okay.
