I just recieved news today, in the form of a phone call, that I was accepted to Gwynedd Mercy College's 2 year associate degree in nursing program!!!! I am so excited, they called and told me I'm in and a member of 150 students chosen out of over 1,000 applicants. This was my first choice school and so I am incredibly happy about the decision. Looks like I am officially a Nursing student as of Fall 2004! Hopefully if all goes smoothly i will graduate in 2006!! At least I'll have two associates under my belt before I get my BSN!!!
Heres to two years of having no social life

What wonderful news! Congratulations!
Where is Gwynedd Mercy College?
And as to having no social life, you'll have one, it just will be very, very efficient!

Congrats ! Way to go !
Don't sweat on it - you will still have a social life - simply a matter of planning around your study hrs. :)

Thanks for all of your congratulations!!
Oh and Gwynedd Mercey is located in the subburbs of Philadelphia, P.A. Its a small catholic college with maybe 2500 students total (full and part time) I liked the phenomenal financial aid package that came with it and after attending community colege and being spoiled with excellent grants and loans I really needed that security. In fact I think that the average award is like 13,000 a year and tuition only totals like 14,000. It was my first choice and i actually applied a few years ago but was only accepred into the general studies prgram and not the nursing program, this time I was in!!!
Oh and thanx for the encouragement but with a five yearold daughter starting school in september, a full time unit assistant position and a full course load in a Nursing program, I am pretty sure I will have no life LOL
