Whether it is working in a specific department or whatever, what do you want in your nursing career.
Mine would be to teach in my local nursing school and support the students (not downgrade them) as they go through their nursing school education. I believe that an enthusiastic teacher could mean the difference in anyone's career.
I would also like to work within the PICU or peds unit to keep my clinical skills fresh.

wow well I am lucky I am living MY dreams, the ones I had since 1992 the year my son was born. I work in OB, where I wanted to, I work perdiem, when I choose to and I love it most of the time. The only thing I might to further aspire to would be to become a nurse-midwife one day. Not sure if I will.......I have time to decide.

$100.00/hr working three eight hour shifts a week from 1pm to 9pm.
Actually, I'm o.k. doing what I'm doing.

Oh, just little things. To work with staff who actually care about what they do and don't behave like children would be a very good thing!
