WEll to keep my skills up I decided to take a job as a perdiem RN at a SNF 13 miles from here. Nice clean place without urine odor. The staff look happy. I will still work my full time job M-F with all holidays off. I only have to work 2 days in a qtr so that won't be hard. 12s will be a challenge I am sure. Wish me luck!

Good luck renerian. I get tired just from working one job!
Thanks badbird and funny girl! This is the first time in my entire life I have worked only one job. I usually always work too. I guess I am nuts........LOL.

I understand about wanting to keep those skills fresh... use 'em or lose 'em, right? Can't have THAT happening !
As soon as one of our local hospitals starts hiring again, I'd like to do a little PRN on a medsurge floor myself, to use some skills not used at dialysis.
The best to you, Renerian ! :)

Hope you enjoy your second job renerian. a while back thinkg you had job dilemmas but sounds like everything is fine now. I enjoy reading your emails.
Thanks everyone. I love my full time job during the week and they won't get rid of me unless they lay me off or close LOL. This extra job will help cover some home updates we would like to do.
