Is anyone else out there suffering like I am? I have allergies to just about everything, dogs, cats, trees, weeds, grass, dust. I have tried everything, nothing helps! I hear that this is a bad year for allergies. Just wanted to know that I am not alone in my suffering!:o

Ah, if only you were suffering alone. :) Unfortunately I'm suffering right there with ya.

My first year with them!!! ugh!!!, now have the infamous....

I suffer too, but have become a slave to Allegra. I swear by it!

I take Allegra D in the morning, and plain Allegra at night. I have tried all others: Clarintin, Zyrtec, and others no longer on the market!

My favorite was the one in the 1980's - the name isn't coming to me now. It wasn't Hismanal, but something else. I know it ended up with serious side effects, but it worked great for me.

Same allergies here... but combo of Zyrtec and Flonase has really worked wonders for me.

I have bookoo allergies, but since leaving Texas in December, I am adjusting quite well here this season and not having to take my Allegra every single day as I did in Texas to survive. Ahhhhhhhhh....soooooooo nice to be off those drugs on a daily basis. I'm FINALLY back on a prn schedule for a change.

Was it Seldane? I used to take it too. Didn't they find it caused heart problems or something?

No you are not alone. Both me and my husband suffer with allergies. Biggest allergy we have is cigarette smoke. Husband has it alot worse since he has only 60% lung volume. We are both having acute episodes right now. please keep us in your prayers.

I had mega problems years ago. I was on 3 inhalers, and nasal spray. I still felt crummy. Then I started having problems with my voice coming out real high and squeaky. Turns out the steroid inhaler was causing some atrophy to my vocal cords. I finally went to an allergist and went through almost the whole course of allergy shots. They really helped me! Now I have a prn albuterol inhaler, which I use maybe once a month. Otherwise, I am allergy medicine free. ;)

Good luck with yours! Audrey

I tried the allergy shots, kept breaking out in hives. The doctor decided I shouldn't take them anymore.

Thanks -

It was Seldane. I couldn't remember the name. I think it was cardiac problems that led to its demise. I never had a problem with it though!

I have more problems with allergies at the end of summer. By September 1st my allergies are in full swing.
