Try going to your pharmacy and obtaining the prescription information that way. Your history of medications is kept in an electronic log there. However, if the prescription is expired you may be out of luck unless your doctor is kind enough to write a new script.

you don't remember what pharmacy you had it filled at? they would have a list of drugs you can show to your work....

did your job ask you for the bottle yet?

keep me posted .. i bet you can remember where you had it filled..

Was this a new hire or a random test?

there is absolutely no reason to worry as long as you had a valid prescription at one time or another. your only problem is remember which pharmacy it was filled at or the Dr. that prescribed it. however, if you took the Darvocet without a prescription and just made this story up and hope they will buy it and forget about it, then I would be worred.

NO,ALL STAFF HAD TO TAKE IT WAS RANDOM:caduceus:

You pretty much have to have a valid Rx for darvocett for a (+) random drug screen. You won't necessarily lose your license but you could be referred for further monitoring until they determine whether or not they think you have a drug problem. Good luck.

COOL I WOULDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT SINCE,I DON'T HAVE A DRUG PROBLEM.YOU WERE VERY HELPFUL BLESS YOU:loveya:

You likely went through insurance for your script. Call your insurance up or log in online to see your account. You can look back a few years I think and see what type of claims were billed and what activity went on in your account. You should be able to see the date your script was filled and possibly even the pharmacy if you do a little more digging.

If this doesn't work, I'd suggest that you call all of your doctors and health care providers who may have provided this script and ask if and when when they prescribed the script and if you can have a copy or some sort of documentation that it belonged to you.

It isnt going to be fun hunting this stuff down but if it could cost you your license, it is worth it.

Best of luck and sorry that you are going thru a stressful time.

Taking prescription drugs for a purpose other than it was prescribed for is illegal. If you were in severe pain, you should have seen your doctor. I don't know how much trouble you'll get into, but you should know better.

Puppie, truly I find your story hard to believe the more I think about it. How can you not know any information about your pills? You knew what they were and were able to identify the pills, but you don't recall any information about them? I know if I was in severe enough pain to be prescribed a narcotic pain medication that the scenario would stick out in my head. Everyone is giving you measures to obtain the prescription information but you don't seem interested in that, just whether or not you'll lose your license. You can't give half a story on here and just expect people to take it at face value. It seems like you could be in more trouble than you realize.

Wait....How do you lose the bottle for your medication, but still have the pills????
