I found a few good ones on

www.postgradmed.com

We all know about mark's site icufaqs

Does anyone have good clinical info sites? Remember you cannot post ads- no one wants to buy anything, just free useful clinical info.

Great site Canoe: I rarely get the side of the insider info from the Dr. perspective. It was very nice and many pearls were noted.

Here's one for Lung sounds:

For ECG interpretation and ACLS practice questions.

Canoe-

I tried clicking on your link. It comes up "page not found." Could the address be missing something?

Indynurse, thank you! I was able to get to this interesting site, but was unable to open any of the tests when I clicked on them. I'll try again later.

excellent sites! I'm havin' fun playin'! :D

Lots of great stuff at this site: http://www.emedhome.com/

--including case studies complete with EKGs/X-Rays/photos, downloadable guidelines and algorithms, and even a section called--yep--"Clinical Pearls."

I'm not getting along with clinical instructor. I think we are just not a good match and she makes me so nervous it is tough to learn. I don't see any way out of this. Anyone have a similar experience?

The instructors are there to see you succeed, not fail. My instructors make me nervous even when I'm confident with what I'm doing, but it's because I know they're evaluating me. No two people will ever totally see eye to eye. Maybe you can try talking to her. She may not be aware of what you're feeling. Most instructors have an "open door" policy and are real good at listening. I've learned to keep a professional attitude and remember my success is up to me and how I handle the situation. Hope this helps.
