hey guys,

We had a nurse from the dept of corrections come and speak with us and one thing that attracted me was that the job gave the nurse a lot of autonomy. Although I like that benefit, I would be scared to death to work in a prison facility- I was curious what other nurse jobs provide that benefit..

I'm also a school nurse, and I am it. I have done every kind of nurseing there is and this is it for me. We live in a very small town in Tx, and alot of the parents are young, poor and uneducated. With all my experience, I have done alot of good her. I will retire here. Also I get all the holiday all the vactions the kids get, and the whole summer. sometimes I work prn in the summer. My husband is retired navy and he works as the PE coach at another elemnetary school in our district, so we have all the same time off.

This is a perfect life for us. :heartbeat
